I have the 3 sections of floor pans welded in
They are tacked about every 2 or 3 inches. I am about to head for the store to get some seam sealer. But i was wondering if the patches need to be totally welded in or just tacked the way they are and then sealed

Sounds like I am getting the welder back out tomorrow. Keep the replies coming. Lazy one that I am I'd like to seam seal them and set the seats. But... welding it is

Keep tack welding between each spot until they are completely welded.
    Looks good!

Weld them completely!!! otherwise they wont stay in the car once you start driving it again.Stitch them in slowely... do an inch long bead here and then go to the other side/end of the panel and do an inch there.Continue to move around the whole panel stitching it together.Dont do too much in one area, the heat concentration will cause warpage and make your seams not match up any more.good luck.Your patches look good, you did spotweld the frame rails back to the front floor pan section right???if not... you need too do that.

Your floor plan is part of the structural support of the car......
would you just spot weld the sub-frames in?
