You should check pushrod length with an adjustable pushrod as well as checking PTV clearance.

People can say "this or that will work" but to be certain you NEED to check on your combination.

Not any 2 engines are the same.

X's 2! just because they run the same head/block doesn't mean it'll fit your application. Due to different cam's, rockers, etc...

X3. You could start with stock 302 rods and see if they work. But often, when you start to mix and match parts, you end up with some that don't work.

I had to use lash caps on my exhaust valved due to all my exhaust rods being too short for my setup. I was too cheap to use a different sized rod for just 8 of the 16. (Before you all jump up and down, the geometry still lines up!)

Check em with the 302 rods. They "should" work with the 351 heads provided the heads havent been milled and or the block hasnt been decked BUT...The 351 heads have bigger valves (diameter wise) be certain you dont have piston to valve clearance issues(possible depending on pistons) If geometry is off you will need custom length push rods. If pistons get too close to valves pistons must be altered or you need to get 302 heads with the smaller valve diameter. Devils in the details.Good luck!!!
