When you go to much larger diameter rims, the first thing you will notice is a severe lack of brakes. The rim weighs a lot more than the same space taken up by tire even if you are talking the same overall diameter.

Any increase in unsprung weight also has an adverse effect on acceleration and suspension control. You will need stiffer shock absorbers.

20's will beat the crap out of your allready 30+ year old suspension,If they even clear the wheel wells and fender/quarter lips.Your brakes will be lousey as stated here by captain comet due to the weight and the increased leverage the rims will have over the brakes.Mav/comet brakes(4 whl drums)are barely adequate as it is.Looks wise, hey its your car/your money/do what you want.We are just tryin to help you avoid the pitfalls.Take the advice and the little digs in stride,We wont disown you...yet.
