That's strange. I wonder if they've stopped selling them. It has been a year or so, since I checked...
I hope you can still get 'em because i was just about ready... Although I'm sure there are plenty of oem apps that can work the Addco setup was decently priced.
Summit carries the Addco line. Even if its not in the catalog, they can get it. Providing it's still made, of course.
I bought both front and rear from Summit about 6 months ago. Received them about 3 days after ordering. I don't recall what they cost though.
I have both the front and rear ADDCO bars on my Maverick. The front one mounts in the same place as the original and is larger than stock(7/8"). The rear one is pretty easy to install and is 3/4". Front Addco part number is 835 Rear Addco part number is 264 They will fit any year Maverick or Comet. I ordered mine from P-S-T a couple years ago...I could not get their website to come up when I just tried it...they seem to have been around forever, so I doubt they went out of business... www.p-s-t.com You can actually order directly from Addco, but I seem to recall that it was a bit cheaper to order from P-S-T.
Mark- Could you offer some info about the rear kit? What does it come with an how doe sit attach? I've got a 9" rear with cal-tracs, and so I might need a lot of fabrication to make the Addco work. If that's the case I might just find one off an Explorer or something and fab up the brackets if I'm going to have to do that anyway. Thanks
The Addco kit comes with all the mounting hardware, bushings, etc. Attaching the bar is not very hard...just a matter of mocking it up to see where to drill the holes, and drilling four holes in the frame. Here are a few pictures from when I did the install:
I just ordered one from Jegs; they don't stock it or show it in thier catalog but I ordered the kit, so I'll let you guys know if I get it (hope so!).
