Guess I should be happy it has A.C....but hey how much did they save by not having a Radio. Want to get one installed but think I will get a under the dash antenna cause really dont trust someone drilling a hole in my car:cry:

Lots of people didn't believe in radios in cars. It seemed pretty common for the 40s and 50s. I had a 67 Valiant Signet with no radio or heater. I had a 67 Mustang with no radio, a 73 Charger with no radio, a 61 Savoy with no radio.

Yea Paintank guess that was a different time..someone told me just to get an Ipod but I myself am not to crazy about driving around and not being able to hear horns blowing and brakes squealing ,which by the way I really Dont want to hear...dont really know if a fancy radio with christmas lights blinking in the dash will affect the integrity of the car though?

A good quality, correctly installed radio and speakers is not going to hurt the integrity or value of the car.

Maybe the person who originally bought it was deaf.

My coworkers Dad has a very nice original 69 Roadrunner radio delete. He had a system with 10 disc changer installed in the trunk with a remote. Its invisible and sounds great.

    Rusty,

Never seen a radio-delete ... what is there? ... just a flat plate where the radio should be?

It isn't a special lower dash that is all smooth there, is it?
