window clips to attach window to regulator

    driver side window has come off the regulator where can you find the clips?

    If you mean the plastic rivet-like things, the local auto glass repair shop. I asked about buying some once and the guy reached in a drawer and gave me a handfull for free.

    auto glass shop

    J C Auto glass on 30th St. in South Park did mine for about $35 each, put in the new clips and new screws thru the clips to expand them in place.. It was worth it not skinning the backs of my hands. Had him replace my windshield gasket too, got the rubber from C&G Early Ford in Esco, I think I paid $120 for that.

    yea i ended up taking the other side door panel off to see how it was attached to the regulator. i realized it has a rail that goes on to the rollers i remembered it was in the trunk. so i kind of ghetto rigged it for now just so i can roll the window up and down. just got to go find the bushings that go in it now.
