After working a double Friday and another back-breaking shift Saturday I told my wife I was gonna take my dog to a local dog run in Her Maverick to which she said half jokingly, No, he is gonna rip holes in my seats (vinyl covered plastic seats).

...so we went in the cuda instead. Ran real good. Mav next time. I think I am gonna do this every Saturday afternoon. Very relaxing to sit with a coffee watching the doys play until the sun sets.

Have you ever considered "Historic" plates? The sticker is cheaper, and your car "appears" stock. Looks awesome!!

They told me here that I could only drive the car in parades and at car show events if I got one.

that's basicly what they told me what was 'legit' here but they went on to say as long as youre not using it as a daily driver, they really dont care.

btw, love the Comet Derek

Same here in Ohio. I've had YOM historical tags on the Comet and Mustang for years and never received any flack. Over in WV theres a 69 z/28 with YOM plates that I see ALL THE TIME during the summer months, so they must be pretty lenient as well.

Great Comet Derek, love the poverty caps/body color wheels. I was gonna do that with my car, but cost to have my factory wheels widened (4-lug) was a bit too high, and I wanted something more than pizza cutters for tires so I went with alum wheels.

Historic tags are different in every state. In GA, the hobby antique plate costs the same and is no different as far as restrictions go then a regular plate. It just has a pic of a model A Ford on it and says Antique Hobby Vehicle on it. You can drive the car daily, doesn't matter.

You know i thought of it just as i was buying the sticker last week.Maybee once this ones due.As far as limitations they make you signh a paper saying for cars shows only bla bla bla but i have a friend with a tubbed 427 Camaro that drives it everywhere and has never got bothered.

Hey Dave who are you Insured with? I have Custom wheels INS on mine and find it a little pricey.

Oh and thanks for all the nice compliments guys it keeps me from wanting to change anything.
