This is a non mav question but still a ford question that anyone can benifit from. I have a 73 ranchero 351 cleveland
with a 2 barrel carb with converter plate. Guy i got it from either didn't tell me or did'nt know that that the converter plate was cracked [thatt's why it kept cutting off]. Well i've gotten a new plate and i was wondering should i use just the gaskets or should i use some type of "form-a-gasket" in a tube [goo]or a combo of both? Would like a quick response because i pla to reassemble it today with just the regular gaskets. If i use goo which brand?
