I think maybe I didn't explain myself correctly!! I am switching from the stock drums in the rear to the disc brakes on the 9" and just want to know what needs to be done to the proportioning of the brake fluid pressure. I've been told that discs need less brake pressure so I need to decrease the brake pressure going to the rear. What's the best way to do this?

Do the change over and test to see if you need to reduce the pressure after Pad breakin. If so, up at the proportion block, put the adjustable valve in the line going to the rear and dial in pressure reduction till the rear wheels do not lock up on hard braking.
