A proportioning valve is the correct way to limit pressure to the rear brakes. We ran into a problem when we switched to disc disc once the system was hooked up we had a spongy pedal. After more research I found out that we need a disc disc master cylinder because the disc drum does not push enough fluid, it has the pressure though. A caliper takes more fluid movement than a wheel cylinder. You may not encounter this problem but, if you do this is the fix. |
