:=:= :=:=Thanks := :=i got the tap at a place called freds nuts and bolts in casa grande az. you can probably find a nut & bolt supply house in the phone book. if you do decide to do this and can't find a tap, let me know. i'll get this one to you and you can mail it back when your finished. i don,t have a scanner to post a picture (sorry). did you see the picture that was in the post on the braces. i think it was 12-29 and posted by fred h. Maybe all you have to do is cut the end with right hand threads. Then you not need to order a new tap no can do. you have to take 3/4 inch off of each end or you'll cut off too much, the ends are tapered, so if you cut off 1 1/2 inch off only one end only you'll lose all the thread on that end. |
