will it hurt anything or even make any improvements. It gets good traction, but was thinking maybe it would make it even better. I know if you run ladder bars with leaf springs you have to have them floaters on the leaf springs. So if I make the traction bars solid will I have to have them?
..............
My thoughts are that you will end up binding the rear so it doesn't work or move at all then weight transfer begins to suffer. Every car and suspension is a little different in requirement for the maxium traction. The light car like the Mav has to be worked on a lot to get the best 60 times unlike the heavy ones. Look at the Lincoln MK7 drag cars in MM&FF. Their 60 times are very good with out any traction aids. These 4000 lb cars are modified but they can run mid 12-13.5 1/4s where the light car spend more time getting of the line.
