I took it into a shop and they told me that it takes a 2-piece hose (Lordco sells them) but mine is only one piece. I figure that the old owner replaced it and just put in a single piece. Does any one know what the hell is going on? := :=If it really is 2-pieces, what goes in-between them? :=If there is something in there, I don't have one. Problem? Where would I get one? := :=Unfortuneatly, in western Canada, the maverick is pretty much forgotten, so no one can realy give me an answer. := :=Craig :=PS. I'm pretty green when it comes to steering jargon. I think what happened is that the car used to be a 6 cyl. The 6 cyl came with a one piece hose and the V-8 with 2 pieces. I don't know why Ford did this but that is how my 77, w/250, is set up. My 74 donor, w/302, had the 2 hoses. *********** Sta cool up there now, don't melt the snow and send it down here. I think that's the answer. The six had the single hose, V8 two. Why? we know not!
