looks like an excellent way to solve the problem. What are you gonna use for a crossmember, if any? I'm building one right now to help stiffen the front end, as the towers tend to "tweak" inwards and the lower a-arm mounts want to bend outwards. My crossmember will stop the lower part from going outwards, hopefully stiffening the front end somewhat. It bolts on so I can take it off to remove the pan. It's tight, but should work pretty good. Also, I got part of the drivers side header built yesterday, it's a major PITA, but it has to be done. Believe me, its tight, especially because they're 1 3/4" dia primaries. Had to trim the bellhousing for clearance as well as an occasional dented tube for clearance. So far, so good. I am going to build a crossmember to tie in the bottom of the engine mounts and then I am going to install front struts through the firewall from the cage to the frame rails. I will add a removable brace across the top of the engine also if I have to. I have been fortunate enough to be around alot of off road racing here in the southwest so I have all of the contacts with all of the right equipment and most importantly the expertise to take advantage of when I get stuck.
