I have a Maverick rear in my 66 Mustang and it is slightly narrower than the original 66 rear. The 67-68 Mustang is 2" wider than that, and the 69-70 is another inch wider than those, IIRC. All will bolt in, but the later ones will stick out further. Oddly enough, us six cylinder Mustang and Falcon guys are all looking for Maverick 8" rears since they are cheaper and easier to find. |
