'69 Stang rear end in my '70 Mav?

Ok, I'm back. With more ?'s -- I can't seem to find a rear axle/brake combination to fit my '70 Mav - bolt pattern on the backing plate doesn't match up, among other problems. So, now I've heard that complete '69 Stang 9" rear ends will fit, and have the added benefit of posi. Any truth to this? Any clue where to find one? I called the local used Stang parts yard, (Johnson's Mustang and Truck in Chesapeake, VA) - the guy there told me that 9" rear ends are rare in '69 Stangs, and he'd sell me an 8" for $250. I politely declined. So, any help? Thanks guys! (and gals!)
