I've got some questions now that retain to POWER!!

WHat all "should" being the fact that I have to drop the pan to get a maverick on on there, what should I do to it?? new cam?? if so what size?? new intake what kind, what carb would be the best?? I'm goign to be putting on new timming gears and chain all new gaskets, I'll be taking off the heads, but I'm laveing the crank shaft and rods and pistions and rings alone. SO... what do you all think of this stuff from summit...

what is the "best" preformace stuff I can get for it, I've listed a few, but I have no idea on how it will work out, and if it will preform well, I plan to use the car for everyday driving, but on the side have fun I also do highway driving alot to so, but here is what I found...

-EDL-3721 Ford: 1962-85 289/302, 4-V EGR, idle to 5,500 rpm, Performer intake manifold ... $179.95 Will this work on my 1983 302?? and will it work well witht the folloing??

-GPT-4282010VFE Ford kickdown linkage, 625 cfm, Road Demon carburetor ... $319.50 is this a good pick?? will it preform well with the above and bolt on the intake??

-CCA-K31-226-3 Ford: 289, 302, 280/280 degrees duration, hydraulic, Magnum camshaft K-kit ... $325.95 is thsi a good size cam, and will my timming cover fit over it, and will I be able to go highway speeds such as 65+ with out my engin blowing or over heating??

**also were do I find these headers??**
-Hooker Headers Super Comps, sombody said they worked great with problems I have a 75 with a/c and power stearing and power breaks, what headers to get and were to find them, but the more quetion is do I really need them??? if I run stock headers and run a streight pip to the back with oo mabe a tubro muffer or something on the back will it be just as good????

please let me know!!!
