 I have a non-stock rear (a 9" was put in before I bought it so I have no idea what it came out of...yet). But the car came with Goodyear 28.5" X 10.5" slicks on Cragar 3.5" back spacing wheels.

The fender lip is slightly pulled outward.

These HAVE to be the biggest tires that can fit under the Maverick without tubbing it (hmm...I wonder......?)
