Hi gang!
I'm getting ready to fix some minor rust on my drip rails and need to remove the chrome trim on the rail to have it re-chromed. Has anyone done this? Do I need special tools? How hard is it? Thanks in advance for the help! I just removed mine. I found it best to start from the front and work back. The blunter the putty knife is the best. It will take you till the second one to get the hang of it. It will start slowly popping off. The bottom piece has one screw in it. I found it easiest to remove the three screws holding the rear vent window in and take out the window and gasket. |
