 Don't put the stripes under the clears coat. Vinyl stripes can shrink and expand under sunlight and that would be bad under a clear coat.

A soapy/water mixture is used when applying the stripes so you can get all the air bubble out when you squeggy the stripes in place. The mixture is like a drop of soap to a gallon of water.

My advice...pay somebody to put them on. I had a professional stripe place but mine on for $50.00

:= I was wondering what the correct way is to put new Grabber Stripes on. I will get a paintjob during the summer, after the engine and body work is done, but I was wondering how the Grabber Stripes go on. Would they be put under the clearcoat? Any recommendations? Thanks a lot.
