I appreciate your input. Most headers I see for this application are 1-5/8".

It already has one in under it (I suppose I should've mentioned that). I'm glad to hear the maybe the determining factor rather than the tranny itself.

Re:9" Rear
It already has one of those under it too. I haven't had time to investigate WHICH 9" (small bearing or large bearing). Do you know of a way to tell from looking at the outside?
