    "You are correct sir" :thumbs2:

The last company I spoke to had me fully convinced that there was a special mold done for the small tunnels - he even took an extra few days to contact his "research" department to verify it - I even posted the email thread on the forum - I waited about a year before I finally contacted them again to purchase the carpet, spoke to a different person who said that there was only one mold done for the 2 door Maverick and he didn't have any idea what the first guy I spoke with was talking about - this is what some companies will go through to sell you something - also in that year's time, I heard from others who used their carpeting in their 70 and their answer was the same as everyone els's has ever been - that the carpet didn't fit well because of the tunnel

The ACC carpet I bought for my '70 fits perfectly. Don't remember if they specified a different part number for early and late cars. My car does have more padding/sound deadener than as from the factory, so maybe that helped.

I called Aardvark today and spoke with George and ordered my carpet. I referenced the Ebay auction I was looking at and he was more than happy to take the order over the phone. George even knocked an extra 5 bucks off the carpet so the total cost was 134.94 with a free shipping promotion for the month of November (made it by one day to spare). :dancing:

George was very pleasant to deal with and double checked by order more than once with me before we were finished. (y)

Got my carpet from Aardvark Motors on Friday via Fed-Ex. It came packaged in it's ACC box drop shipped from the factory. I called George back to inquire about buying some extra because of my sub frame connectors needing to be covered and he will sell me this same exact cut pile material in a 1 foot x 6 foot piece for 27 bucks :yahoo:
