Billet Aluminum Hood Hinges

I'll post a link as soon as I get it done. I'm working on custom shock tower braces so I need to get done with those before I put the hood back on. Also have the trans out being rebuilt. Lots of other odds and ends as well but hopefully back together in a couple of weeks.

 

I wonder if u can get them without the wording

 

I was doing some video work this morning so I shot the hood hinge intro while I was at it. Couldn't resist mounting the hinges even though it'll be several days before I am ready to put the hood back on. Many thanks to @dyent for his spacer suggestions. They were spot on. A 1/2" and 1/8" on the upper and front lower bolts. Just a single 1/2" on the lower rear. That worked out perfectly. Walt sends nice stainless bolts hex head bolts but I pretty much substitute stainless button heads for every possible bolt so that's what I have on the hinges. More to come...

 

I'll finish the video this weekend but had to skip finishing the shock tower braces and put the hood back on to make it to our local cars and coffee on Sunday. Hinges are very trick. Work great. It was windy and the hinges and latch performed perfectly.
