    Did all the Maverick doors have bumpers? Mine doesn't and there is no hole where the bumpers are located in pics that I have seen.

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    Start poking around where they should be...You may find some body filler in your doors. Or they were re-skinned at some point and seam sealer was used (Not uncommon) and the sealer filled the mounting holes for the rubber bumpers....

    I have/had a '76 door and it doesn't look like it had door bumpers. '76 door is red...'74 door blue.

    Looks like between '74 and '76 they dropped the bumpers. Mine is '76 and looks like your red door (no holes).
