Fastest Street Car Maverick Update ~ New Pics, Sketch, Engine Shot

    Yeah I thought that was the car. Nicely built chassis, that thing does like 1.16 60 ft times. I stare at it at every event.

    I took the engine to Westech to get dyno'd and to figure out the crank trigger bracketry and whatnot. I hope to have some numbers in the next couple weeks.

    man jake that is looking sweet. thats definitly a top notch build youve done there. how far has this project gone beyond your orignal intentions?

    Well, I've always wanted to build a heads-up car and I had the opportunity to get a new supercharged combo for it, so it's just sort of snowballed from there. But to be honest my original sketch of the car is very similar to this, except I don't have 10.5 Ws and a red roll cage (anymore).

    But after driving it on the street a lot when it was brown, I was tired of having an in-between car, so I built it into something that I think will be competitive in certain classes when it's all sorted out.

    whats the deal with the few awesome projects like this and the viper mav that we may never see an update?

    If you ever notice all those cars(and Thack/Maverick Man) are in southern california. I think that has something to do with it :D

    lol you have no idea how fast the street cars are out here. Well the ones is the PSCA. Some are LS based with two 80mm turbos that can support 2,000HP. I like the LS idea though, do a search it's been done. And it was a top notch swap also.
