Does anyone know if there is a reproduction hood emblem for my 71 Comet. I know they used a similar, if not the same emblem on the Montegos. My chrome housing is fine but the plexiglass (or whatever it is made of) center is cracked and faded.
They are similar to Montegos (or Monterey, I can't remember). If I remember, the angle (the Comet hood is 'sharper' than the Montego version) of the emblems are different. But I did find a company that re-produces just the center part... it's not cheap and the turn around is quite long. Apparently they paint them by hand. Maybe if we can get a bunch ordered, they can give a price break...
