Parts from other Fords that work on a Maverick

    Im still looking for low black bucket seats for my 1970 Ford Maverick and still cant find any does anyone have any ideas for me? like the sites where i can buy them.

    See how silly it looks, don't do it (just kidding).
    All you need is a spare Maverick hood and Maverick grill and bumper, that's all, then you will have people say to you endlessly , " Hey is that a Maverick or a Comet?" I like to tell them it's a Maverick with Corvette taillights.(y)

    ok if front shocks from 65-70 mustang fit then does the 65-70 export brace and shock tower caps fit maverick cause it should be an exact match right???

    Sadly, no. I think the shock tower tops may be the same, but the export brace doesn't fit. It can however be sectioned and made to fit, seen that done somewhere...

    '74 Maverick 250 5-Speed.'60 Falcon V8. '63.5 Falcon HT
    65 and 69 Mustangs top shock mount have a different height. The '69 is 3/4" shorter.

    Interesting. Is the '69 taller than the Maverick one? I wonder if this could be useful for lowered Mavs...
