my dad has a 8.8 truetrack out of a 92 thunderbird in his fox mustang (87) he is pulling that one out and replacing it with a diffrent diff. this makes the thunderbird diff avaliable to me. is this a good option? i like the truetrack thing and i am currently running the one wheel drive diff that was original on my 75 (250)
so what do you think? is it a good option? if i get a diff off an explorer i will need to do spring perches anyway, so ....... is this a good option?

the truetrack is an aftermarket differental carrier. the t-bird and mustang use 28 spline 8.8s. chances are that its a tracloc not a truetrack. if you use the explorer, they are 31 spline axles and you can use the one out of the mustang in the explorer rear.
