Sway Bar Bushings

    When I change the front sway bar bushings and end links should the front be jacked up or on the ground? I've heard both. Thanks

    With the car on the ground it's easier for me. It can be done either way.

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    Roll the front up on some drive on ramps...Lots of room that way...:yup:

    The ramps is what I was thinking too. I had just been told you need it on the ground for proper alignment with the control arm. Guess thats not so true...

    With the wheels on the ramps, the control arms will still be approximately in the same place as if the car was on the ground. (y)
