thermostat housing

    Need a housing for a 70 250 6cyl no air, all aftermarket housings are 1 1/4 mine is 1 1/2. Anybody else run into this?

    Have you try NAPPA. I had the same problem when I tryed to get one. I think that 1 1/4 inch is for a 200 not a 250. When I went to NAPPA they had the right one. Hope this helps.

    you could always get the after market one and then get a new radiator hose that will fit it....i had the same problem when i did my swap....i started from scratch and about 4 trips to and from the parts store to finally get the correct hose that fit the connectors on the waterpump and radiator...
