Wont need the hoist...Just drop the idler arm from the frame rail as stated and you will have plenty of room to wiggle the oil pan out. But...

You need to check the accessory wires that are connected to the big threaded lug on the solenoid. (On the battery cable side) NOT the starter...
The gear thing is called a reluctor and the thing with the metal tab is the rotor...
You have electronic ignition...
Just so your aware...That shifter hump is used for automatic floor shifter applications...Not necessary for standard shift apps...
It isn't rocket science but, It does require a few dedicated tools and strong forearms/hands and a skill set. Good luck man!!
