That's around 25 mpg, with a carburetor. I guess with fuel injection and other tweaks you can achieve even more. BTW, you car is awesome hanks351!
I think 71-73 mustang consoles are cool too. Mustang II's and Fox Body Mustang's consoles are nice if you adapt somehow a handbrake.

I think they lost it since the 70's. At least in the U.S. , everywhere else Ford is doing good, not that great, but good enough.
