I have no idea, but that engine sure looks good .
It's a '74.
'73s already have the small bumper in the rear. The front is not extremely big, and is a one year only item. As mentioned, that is not a '73.
Pretty scary. That is a strut rod you're talking about, and you don't want that coming off while you're going down the road. If you get KYB...
Yeah, I should have mentioned the steering box as well. It could have play after 45+ years. It is adjustable to a certain extent.
I should add that you'll need to remove the master cylinder to get the old rod out. As suggested, you may want to just buy a new master cylinder...

Do whatever looks best to you. Your '70 was black from the factory.
The earliest Mavericks had black engine compartments like '60s Mustangs until '71 or '72 when they were all body color from there on. Your '70 was...
I wouldn't let that stop me from buying the car.
Or in my case, it's been so long since I've worked on this stuff, I start second-guessing myself.
No '73 Maverick had disc brakes from the factory. I converted mine to '75 disc brakes from a Mercury Comet. The factory 11 inch discs are not up...
