get the edelbrock man gasket... the stock 302 ones all leaked on me as well.
although i like to agree with dave on this one, he did state he is not good at welding. maybe someone who is awesome at welding could save it though.
that stinks.... hope that was it though, since that is at least easy to get to compared with tearing the whole trans apart ..
well for insurance reasons it is worth what you and the appraiser and the insurance company can come to agreement on. try to get an agreed value...
thats pretty cool! i just use a big shop vac to suck the liquid out of the block (you can almost get it dry) then dump the bucket at the recycle...
