has anyone used a transgo or a similar valve body kit to convert their automatic valve body to full manual operation?
I found out that my spare valve body was made back in 72, would it work in a 74' C4 transmission?

will it function like it should with the switched 12v power source going to that post or should i hook it back to the starter solenoid?
the instructions for my safety switch (mr.gasket #7872) say that wiring the switch throungh the starter solenoid would energize it on engine start...
