I thought it would be, my t5's got a 3.08 8.8 behind it and don't have much of a first gear. I'd like to have me a good 3.55 gear maybe 3.73 but...

I usually get under there and unbolt the converter first, if I'm planning on separating them.:) It's much easier than making a mess

my wheels are weld draglite 15x3.5's like MAV's and I run the 165R15's too. Hadn't had much problem street drivin'. Just watch out for potholes...
