Cody the bell housing on the 200 and the 250 are different! The 250 and the 302 are the same bolt pattern.

Cody... you crack me up. Yeah, I love lil hick towns. I grew up in one. Its now the 2nd largest city in idaho according to 2011 census records. My dumb hick ass still lives here too... and now I am a outsider in my own home town/city. Progress is Bull**** !
hey i worked hard today i pulled 2 motors out and would have put one back in if i didnt need a pilot bearing o i forgot to tell u it a daily drive so if it not going i dont got no wheels
Mine's a daily driver too. I love my new exhaust, engine is running a lot better with it on there. And not sucking fumes anymore :16suspect
I soooooooooo did see them. Man can't wait to get a 2nd maverick. As I want a v8 demon. To many wants now.. gotta focus on restore/modding my current bucket.
yea i was going to put a 302 in mine but i dont got all the part to do a quick swap so i found a nuther 6 cylinder motor.... well car for now intell i get a little cash banked and i get my ticket payed off and now my buddy is talking about me and him going halfers on the comet and making a beater drag car idk where to begin on this except hes got all the stuff to make it run and iv got a car
Hmm... He has the stuff...you have the car... go for it! And that ticket thing ...... I said it all in the other thread. So your gonna beat me on the drag build too... kudos!!! *Stares out the window at his l6 rust bucket* Naw...this is gonna stay a 6. Daily driver...lol Now to figure out how to fund all my build ideas...... nothing legal or easy is coming to mind yet.:bananaman
1971 maverick. I ran the numbers and it was a grabber at one point. Has a stock hood now though and no grabber items left. Hell the interior is 80% from god knows what... I will take pics someday soon...lol Been meaning too, but haven't done it yet. Mainly due to the shame of how it is now. Was hoping to have the body working tools sooner, so I could get to stripping it down and blasting it. Might just go chemical as I saw how fast it works in another current thread. The thing is... I don't have another car, so want to get it stripped so I can see all the rust/damage better and primed untill I can fix them all. :16suspect
i c i no the felling my car made me feel ashamed intell i hit that point with it when i was like yea its my car its payed for and i work to get so what are u driving anyways type of mood and hey iv done some work to it over the pasted 3 year so yea im proud of it because i have done all the work to my own car im a 19 year old fresh out of high school (as in friday makes a week) and ready to work but its hard to work when i dont got a car...................and could u pics a rust bucket blowing ur door off yea id be pissed out
Yeah..you should be proud. 16...and well along the path of gear head life path. I am double your age and just go my car ...eeeerm.. month ago. Had toyota before. Hated it from day one. Still hate it. Will die hating it. I got screwed on that deal...and they doctored it up at the lemon car lot before I bought it...I needed a car fast, for work or I wouldn't of bought the thing. Still wish I would of blown it up with some home made Manure bomb. Instead I gave it away...could of sold it...could of scrapped it.. but I gave it away. The person I gave it too swapped motors/transmission with their wrecked toyota. 2001 corolla Ce was the car. Anyhoo I a jealous of your youth and early start on owning a awesome car, and building the skill set to fix and restore cars
im 19 and yea the car started out as my first car my dad bought for me and yes im proud of it...it the only daily drive where i live theres a few around but not many the thing i keep telling people is that im not afair to try some thing new like the floor pan yea that was my first time doing that so its dosnt seem that hard to me i no how to turn wrenches been doing sense it i was little so yea i learn that from my dad i learned how to weld in high school im a mechanist also pick that up in high school so like my quote says you got to start some where but that dont apply to the comet i bought its to far gone
My high school had cool classes till the California morons moved in and changed everything from school to how the place is run..blah blah blah.. made it just like the **** hole city they all fled from. So when I made it to high...nothing useful or real world left. Least I had one class in junior before they borked it all up. wood shop.. still have my fingers so must of been a good class to have. Anyhoooooooooo. I enjoy our convo's so don't kill yourself in that rust bomb drag car your gonna build
