At first I thought this was a registered member that logged in as a joke to get everybody riled up, now I don't know.

My ony thought is: sometimes you hit the guardrail, sometimes you hit a minivan full of children. Think about it for a minute before you put this cobbled up death trap on the road.

This post has been most entertaining.

Although I agree, it has been an embarrassment to my generation. It is easy to see just why the youth of today have a bad reputation............The few of them who won't listen to reason or common sense, and who just spout off at the mouth with seemingly no point or destination in mind......You get the idea. I say that you may be 21, but you have a lot of growing up and maturing to do before you should be behind the wheel of a V-8 maverick. Just my opinion. Not wanting to piss anybody off, but you haven't shown ANY examples of common sense or good thinking yet. Preston

I dont think this thread is entertaining at all. I think it should just go away. This kind of conversation just takes away from such a great forum. Take it to another board.

I thought that everyone understood that I was being sarcastic. I'm sorry. I also think that it should be gone from here. Country

dont know what year it is. dont even know what car it originally came out of..... tis a 351C that's all i know.....

Call me immature, call me whatever you'd like. i spent a year looking for the v-8 frame mounts and not having to spend a whopping $90 for them.... i'm just sick of sitting here wishing the thing was running.... i know now that i should have just kept the stinking POS inline 6 in it... but the valve seals were hella bad on it, and No one would help me fix them, and i didnt have the tools to do it... which was when i traded off my 78nova for a 302......exhaust manifolds wouldnt fit... and i had no grinder to grind off the sides of them, so my parents got me a set of headers that supposedly fit it, but as said in previous messages... wont fit past the steering box without denting it, and looks like it will hang up right in front of the tranny crossmember..... so then the engine just sat there.... because no one would help me figure it out, and i did not have the knowledge to do so myself without making it a truely unsafe vehicle to drive..... then, my friend was out of town visiting his father... and his dad said he could get me the exhaust manifolds i needed..... turns out it was a whole engine and tranny..... therefore causing me to start this thread.....

there's my story front to back.

and as for saying i cant handle this car.... i dont think its going to be much different than driving a 70' Nova with a 350hp 350 in it.... and i never crashed that car or even came close.... i love driving.

i'm not one of those crazy kids that goes out and speeds everywhere and drives recklessly... i know its a privilage to drive and that you should never do anything you dont think you can handle. the only thing i ever plan on doing that is anywhere near "reckless" is taking it out on a long straight flat road in oh say montana.. and seeing just how much this baby's gonna float. i just want it to sound badass, and suprise the "shizzle" out of people.

anyways. i'm sorry i started this thread. if i knew anywhere else that i could get help with my car from... trust me i would have asked them first.
