i was about to get insulted not being included in your pics but i will let you off the hook. ha ha . there was an unusual number of mavs and comets at daytona this year. i met the guy who own the green 2 dr pictured and we parked next to each other on saturday which was pretty cool. his grabber is the exact same shade of green as my 4 dr so people were getting a kick out of them together. i also met 2 new cars down there. one driven by an older man( blue two door) and one driven by a really fun and outgoing college girl. (again blue 2 dr) from the jacksonville area i think. we talked for a while and i told her how to get to this forum since she was looking for support. keep a lookout in the new member area for a name of hottie-2. (her license plate) i told her to use that so i could recognize her. she SAYS the hottie name is because she wants to paint flames on her car. it couldn't be because she is a 20 something college cutie just teasing the guys. nahh. anyway she has the original 6cyl and her dad is just about to do the 302 swap with her very soon. keep a lookout she seemed really interested.
there was a very nice 2 dr comet for sale in the car corral but i don't think it sold. price was pretty high. very disappointing year as far as parts went though. i found virtually nothing up for sale. a few gas caps was about it.
the daytona street rodders did a great job putting on the show even with the construction chaos. maybe if we can get enough interest we could reserve a club spot and have a mini meet next year?

Yeah Hopefully! I was born in Ocala on Jan 12th 81 and it was 12 degrees that day! 12 on the 12th, One of the coldest days ever in Ocala. That was kinda freak but I would still dress warm, Ocala isnt southern FL, it still gets cold there. I'm hoping I can make it down there for that show.

dana. yes you responded to a 2 year old post BUT at least you finally made it on here. with a little practice and nosing around you will get the hang of it. if an old fart like me can do it a youngun like you can. haha the only thing i can't tell you how to do is to post pics cause i can't ever seem to get it to work. there is a page giving instruction on how to post pics but for some reason my computer won't let me. glad to have you on here.
have you gotten your registration yet for silver springs and turkey rod? i got both of mine in the mail this week.
well better go. tell dad i said hey. later j
