    I got it guys. It was a corroded splice, when I was cleaning the washer tank I must have stressed the connection. I'll give this a better fix for now as the new motor will not be using the D/S box. The box is mounted upside.

    :thumbs2: Glad you found the problem, probably would have given trouble shortly even if you'd not touched it...

    It's a little known fact those connectors all exit from a lottery that assigns a failure point, I think the minimum is 30 seconds up to maybe 7-8 years... :rofl2:

    It was one of those side by side blade splices...when I get the drive train figured out I will replace and hide the wiring so as not to detract from the motor
    It might not sound like it but I'm doing the fat guy happy dance!

    hate those crimp on Scotch connectors...:yup:

    seems like everyone uses them on trailer light wiring...:slap:
