Damn these bezels! They arent quite nice enough to just put on my car, I tryed using a scotch brite pad, 600, 1200, 1500 sandpaper, rubbing compound. Nothing really took out the water spot looking marks, But it did leave a brushed look on them. I am just trying to finish these quick and put them on the car. They are becoming a thorn in my side. I dont have a wheel to polish with, and I never even heard of jewlers rouge. Could I do that by hand? Or what kind of business could do this for me? Body shop?

A plating shop should be able to polish them for you.

The rouge is available at a good hardware store. OSH or Home Depot has it, but you wont get it done by hand. Buy a buffing wheel to put on a drill if you can. I use that to polish manifolds and small parts, even valve covers.

Yeah, I even tryed the jewlers rouge. the drill. This is the final product. Defeat. But defeat never looked so good.. Actually I am liking the black now more than I thought I would. I think it looks pretty good with the painted bumper.

That looks great. I think I like the black better then if they were polished.

By the way, my Bobcat tail light housings are cast instead of stamped like the Maverick housings. They are chrome plated instead of anodized. That may be why you were having such a hard time.
