Well been driving it for a week now, no real problems, had a few bugs, fixed most of them ,im going to race it in 2 weeks, hoping for a 8.50 range in the 1/8th mile ,it has a 289 with a 500 lift cam,9 to 1 compression and 91 corbra heads with a rpm intake, and a 750 holley double pumper,3200 stall,3.55 gears, with a mini spool for now hoping to get a 3.73 gear and a posi unit, has 2.5 exhaust with flows to the rear, seems real strong on the top end, i also have cal tracs on it,they hook so good it boggs on the start,on the street, not sure what i will do there, seems like it needs more convertor, witch is out of my budget for now,and i love how streetable it is with this one, does anyone know at what temp the iddiot light comes on, and the low oil pressure light also ,waiting to put a shift kit in it when i get some extra cash to spend, i have around 5500.00 it it so far but i have sold 2500.00 in parts off my other mavericks so i guess i have around 3000.00 in it after that,id like to thank Raymond,Mean Maverick,Ryan, and all the other with there advise on my project,i hope to rechrome the bumpers in the winter, and fins the side pieces for my grabber rear spoiler to trade for,and a nice grabber hood this winter........

well went to the track this weekend, ran 8.31 @ 84 mph, leaving it in drive it 1.74 60ft ,it was shifting at 2500 rpm,i was in 3 rd by the 100 mark,it left hard im thinking it was low 1.60 footing if it didnt shift into 2nd so early,i feel its a 7.80s cars 1/8th mile its a coloum shift, and very hard to shift,i had to work the shifter rod alot to get it to work with my headers full tube hedmans
