If you have access to an oxy-acetylene torch, with a fine tip, start heating the ez-out until it is red and starting to spark. Turn off the acetylene and the pure oxygen will "burn" the ez-out. It will not hurt the broken bolt,so you can try again. Also the heat will help to loosen the broken bolt. Good luck, been there and done that!:)

yep, the welding rod is covered with a flux that builds up around the outside of the arc so it isolates the surrounding metal from the welding process. There is also a cutting rod that does the same thing. It will blow down through a pin to make it come out more easily - however the bolt would have to be very big - like 3/4" or larger.

tried a tungsten carbide grinding burr with a dremel and i did absolutely nothing to the ease out... would cut thought the bolt like butter and i slipped once and hit the hole in the block and it carved out a chunk of that too... need less to say im just gonna put my other engine in it and try something else later... the engine is basically just sat in there any way... no clutch linkage and i hadnt even put the harness, injectors or headers on so it is no big deal to change them out... i appreciate all the help guys :thumbs2:

guess this engine just isnt gonna cooperate
