You guys will be real happy when you see a future issue of HOT ROD within the next 2 months. No not Maverick but yes Rice. This aint no joke either.

Maybe we need to show those Car Craft guys just how "in" Mavs are. What do y'all think about someone writing an article about the rise in Mavs including some pix and quotes from owners? It would be nice to get some real recognition in the printed media for a change, wouldn't it? It they want to see it from the performance standpoint, tell them about Mavs/Comets like Steve Moore's (cometgt1974) or Thack's or the others around here that turned their Mavs into a real runner as well as a thing of beauty. Food for thought.

    Ford Mavericks: IN !

I apologize if someone else has already posted this, but in the March issue of Car Craft magazine in their "In & Out" culumn, is lists Ford Mavericks as "In" and Ford Escorts as "Out".
I thought that was pretty cool...

I would also love to see the article.

I think that one of the reasons that the Maverick is starting to finally get some serious respect is that it is the "forgotten" Ford

People are seeing this very lightweight unheard of car with mustang internals and going---wow!!! Ford built another Pony car--

New and fresh for many people who are burning out on the same old classics
