Do the headers need to come off to get the transmission out?

scoop, its posible to get trans out with hookers in place, but its alot easier to do it with passenger side off

I will at least lift the engine and loosen both headers. Like I said, I don't want the crap hanging and then need to jump up and start removing other stuff.

I am doing this all alone, so I can't scream at someone to work top-side while I am underneath.

Frank, those are shorties. I doubt he will have a problem. Unless you know something I don't, which is not entirely out of the question.
