I just bought my rear valance from up22 after getting a $75 refund from a guy on Ebay. I watched Ebay for three months before I found a Maverick valance. Then I won an auction and got the valance for $51 plus shipping. Turned out it wasnt even a Maverick valance. I got lucky because the seller actually offered me a refund. So I went ahead and bought it from up22.com. I knew they were going to charge me $45 for shipping but its worth it. For one thing these parts are getting hard to find and second they really do fix up the package to help ensure no damaging from UPS. I worked at UPS for over two years and I have seen how the workers handle the packages. They dont care, the entire staff consists of teenagers doing school to work programs. I recently bought a rear deck tray for my maverick on Ebay and the seller shipped it UPS. He sent it in a thin cardboard box with DO BOT BEND stickers on it. I got it and it had been snapped in two. First time I had to file a damage claim (which by the way has been three weeks and still no word from UPS). So in my opinion, $45 for shipping for a brand new hard to find part with good quality packaging is worth it!

The best place I found to order parts with great prices, decent postage and great customer service was from you guys on this site here. Can't beat it I'd say.:tiphat:

Yes, most of the members here are honest and offer parts for very reasonable prices (you just need to post in the parts wanted/forsale section). There are always a few who ask ridiculous prices for stuff, but we're not allowed to say anything about it because it's not "polite" and it might hurt their feelings.

And since this was my thread to begin with, I think I can "jack" it if I want...

Did you send the part first before you received the money?
