    also, some of the aftermarket dampers, the not sfi ones, often have a suggested rpm limit. if you think in the future you would need/use an sfi damper, why not get it now, if you got the $? why buy something twice?

    imho, ati is probably the best on the market. yes, cost $$. you get what you pay for.
    rebuildable rubbers.
    tunable rubbers.
    scored crank hub? bolt in a new one.
    need under/oversize hub, bolt it in. aftermarket cranks vary in size.
    markings obliterated? buy new shell.
    approved by nascar - its a very short list, for good reasons.
    used by virtually all the leading nascar teams.
    does all of this matter to the average user? probably not, but some of it should.

    should u go aftermarket damper? worth thinking about. high dollar? your choice.
