    I don't see any advantage of this being any "better" than the extended frame way. to me only a full frame would do that.
    remember the Guy that had the..."bed frame"... looking setup under his car...:rofl2:

    That's a better pix! It's a little fuzzy but somewhat clears up what u have in the way of sub connectors. What did u use for stringers? I build/fly RC aircraft so I have concept of stringers? How the stringers attached to the car? A little more details helpful. This idea is "thinkin out of the box". I like it..

    they were just steel plates going from the sub frame to the connector. i think they were 2" long 3/16" thick. the tube going to the outer side of the car went to the plate that the cage was welded to the floor pan of the car.
