    Glad to be of help.

I was sad to see my roommate lose interest in her Mav, especially since she bought it because she liked mine so much.
I'm glad to know it will be going to someone who will treat it like gold.

OK,one thing at a time.I'd start with the steering 1st. Don't know what problem is as you didn't say. If u can afford a reliable front end shop, mabey that would be the best bet on the steering. Just a note, Took some time to do some things on my 72 Comet and noticed a lot of play while hand turning my front wheels on pass side. Turns out it comes from pivot on lower control arm, bushing probably shot.

Next I'd tackle the muffler, it could be quick and easy, but dangerous if fumes are getting into the interior.

4 reasons a engine won't run, or run right.
    1. Compression
    2. Fuel/air
    3. Spark
    4. Timing
This is brief, but true.If u have the equipment or knowhow I'd check these things, probably starting with compression. Take you time and don't just jump into somthing. Good luck. Jan
