The mav is gone but i'm still here!
I put the numbers in my desktop dyno and heres what i got 172hp@3,500 and 325tq@2,000 so about 146whp/276wtq. I want to see how close i get to the actual numbers.

that is at the motor. it has domed pistons, ford f cam (512 lift) factory heads that have alot of port work and biger valves in them. its compression is around 11.5 to 1. thats where most of the power is made.
stop by the shop some time and check the car out if youd like.

Wow. That is a great deal. I am trying to get mine in this weekend as well. 5 pulls w/air fuel and tuning for $375.00. PLUS PARTS! I wonder if that includes new pistons when I suck a valve at 7200 rpm!

Yea $350 isn't bad at actually and I think I'm still gonna do that on Monday. But gonna see what this other guy that Brent referred me to can do for me tomorrow night.

Frank, I am curious. How much horsepower is gained when you leave the vents open vs. closed ? I am also thinking with the removal of my side markers the reduced drag should help with several ponies. :)

Here is an old racers tip from the 60's. Put duct tape between the rain gutters and A post...the rain gutters are acting like small parachutes. This will help streamline the air around the body. :yup:

Jeff, Thanks for the tip. But I was joking! AT my trap speed, 109mpg, duct tape would help as much as a 3' wing on the back!
